I’m here to support you through these challenges. With over 20+ years of experience, I integrate evidence-based and data-driven techniques into my therapeutic process. I am Gottman Level-3 trained, and also incorporate, internal family systems, emotionally focused therapy and somatic therapy within our work. In couples therapy, we will go beyond traditional talk therapy. I use detailed assessments and health data, to create a customized therapy experience that's focused on breaking through conflict, intimacy barriers and communication breakdown.
Our clientele are typically busy, high performing professionals, entrepreneurs, and couples in fields like tech, medicine, corporations and academia. These couples don't have time to sit with a therapist week after week, and feel like there's no direction or progress.
Bayani Wellness and Counseling has you covered. We provide a unique and tailored therapy experience where you walk away from sessions with a plan, homework, skills and tools that can make a difference today.
Ongoing Sessions: We’ll meet once a week or every two weeks, typically for 60 minutes. These sessions will be structured yet flexible to address immediate concerns. You'll have access to Gottman's evidence-based tools and resources to help you achieve the love, intimacy and connection you've been yearning for.
We'll review the results of your assessment together. I’ll provide detailed feedback on what’s working well and areas that need improvement. Together, we’ll set specific, achievable goals for your therapy journey.
This will include two individual 45 minute interviews with each partner to understand your individual experiences, to learn more about your childhood, your life experiences, challenges as a couple and family, and current stressors.
Our first 90 minute session will focus on learning the story of you as a couple. This is where you share your story, concerns, and goals. I’ll ask you both to complete a comprehensive relationship assessment. This helps me understand the strengths and challenges in your relationship.

Efficacy and Accessibility: Virtual psychotherapy has been shown to be as effective as in-person therapy and provides access to specialized treatment and experts regardless of where you live. A study by Henneman et al. (2020) highlights that teletherapy effectively bridges gaps in service availability, particularly for those in remote or underserved areas.
Convenience: The ability to schedule sessions from your home, office or during a business trip allows you to integrate mental health care into your busy lifestyle. Research by Rees et al. (2019) indicates that flexible scheduling reduces barriers to therapy and enhances engagement among high-performing clients.
Comfort, Safety, & Privacy: Engaging in therapy from a familiar environment can foster greater openness and keeps your self-care time private. According to a study by McNab et al. (2021), clients often feel more comfortable discussing sensitive issues in their own space, leading to more productive sessions.
