I provide therapy for adolescents, adults and couples residing in Michigan. My expertise is depression, anxiety, stress and burnout, couples therapy and complex trauma. Often clients come to me for issues such as work-related stress, imposter syndrome, parental stress, postpartum depression, identity conflict or distress, and complex trauma.

How Can Therapy Help Me?
Yes, I exclusively provide online therapy sessions via a secure telehealth platform. I no longer have in-person availability at this time. Online therapy offers tremendous convenience and accessibility for my clients throughout Michigan.
Do You Provide Online Therapy?
- Intake and Assessment: $200 for 53-90 minutes
- Individual Psychotherapy Session: $170 for 53-60 minutes
Full payment is due at the time of service. I accept all major credit cards, debit cards, health saving account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA) cards.
What is Your Fee?
48 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice for non-illness-related reasons will be charged a missed appointment fee of $120.

How Long Do Sessions Last?
We will spend time getting to know one another and establish the working goals for your treatment. It’s okay if you don’t know exactly what you want to work on, but it’s always helpful to have some ideas of what you might want to change. My goal is to help you feel supported during this time.

I draw from several approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, strength-based therapy, and motivational interviewing. I use EMDR to help clients with trauma and other related issues. I also integrate ecological systems theory, life course theory, and resilience theory in my practice.
Which Theoretical Approach Do You Use?
I am in Michigan and treat clients statewide. If you are interested in working together but are located outside of Michigan, please visit kusog.co for more information on my health, wellness, and coaching services.
Where Are You Located?
You can elect to have your virtual appointments in the privacy of your home or at work. Wherever you choose to attend your sessions, you must be physically located in the state of Michigan.
Can I Do Virtual Appointments Anywhere?
No, I do not accept insurance, and I am considered an out-of-network provider by insurance companies. In choosing to not accept insurance, I have more freedom and flexibility to provide my clients with the best treatment for their needs.
Prior to our consultation, I encourage clients to contact their insurance carrier to see if their plan offers out-of-network coverage and partial reimbursement. I recommend asking: 1) what is my out-of-network coverage for mental health treatment; 2) how many sessions are covered in a calendar year; 3) what is my deductible; and 4) what is the out-of-pocket maximum?
I will be able to provide a superbill (invoice/receipt) for you to submit for partial reimbursement. Unfortunately, I do not have any sliding scale fee slots available at this time.
