I provide therapy for adolescents, adults and couples. My expertise is depression, anxiety, stress and burnout, couples therapy and complex trauma. Often clients come to me for issues such as work-related stress, imposter syndrome, parental stress, postpartum depression, identity conflict or distress, and complex trauma.
Research shows that therapy can be profoundly helpful for people experiencing mental health issues like depression, anxiety, or trauma. Therapy offers a safe and supportive place to share your truest self. Our time is entirely about you and your needs.
Therapy refers to meeting with a qualified mental health professional to process feelings, needs, and individual experiences. Therapy helps you learn more about yourself and achieve important goals related to your emotional well-being.
Therapy is a highly individualistic process, and no two clients work on the same timeline. Many clients start feeling better after a few months of working together. Throughout therapy, we will collaborate and regularly touch base about your treatment plan.
Therapy can help you in a variety of ways, including deepening insight, learning healthier coping skills, strengthening relationships, and improving self-esteem. Keep in mind that change is an ongoing process, and your needs might evolve over time.
Yes, I provide online therapy sessions via a secure telehealth platform. Online therapy offers tremendous convenience and accessibility for my clients.
Full payment is due at the time of service. I accept all major credit cards, debit cards, health saving account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA) cards.
24 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice for non-illness-related reasons will be charged a missed appointment fee of $150.
We will spend time getting to know one another and establish the working goals for your treatment. It’s okay if you don’t know exactly what you want to work on, but it’s always helpful to have some ideas of what you might want to change. My goal is to help you feel supported during this time.

I draw from several approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, positive psychology, and motivational interviewing. I use EMDR to help clients with trauma and other related issues. I also integrate ecological systems theory, life course theory, and resilience theory in my practice.
I am located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I offer in-person EMDR intensives, for individuals looking to do targeted work in a short period of time.
You can elect to have your virtual appointments in the privacy of your home or at work. Wherever you choose to attend your sessions, you must be physically located in either Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey or Washington D.C.
No, I do not accept insurance, and I am considered an out-of-network provider by insurance companies. In choosing to not accept insurance, I have more freedom and flexibility to provide my clients with the best treatment for their needs.
Prior to our consultation, I encourage clients to contact their insurance carrier to see if their plan offers out-of-network coverage and partial reimbursement. I recommend asking: 1) what is my out-of-network coverage for mental health treatment; 2) how many sessions are covered in a calendar year; 3) what is my deductible; and 4) what is the out-of-pocket maximum?
I will be able to provide a superbill (invoice/receipt) for you to submit for partial reimbursement.
